About First Baptist
 The First Baptist Church of Newport was established over 115 years ago. Their love for God & people have been demonstrated in many ways throughout those years. The ministries and programs seek to exemplify the purpose statement: "Loving God, Loving the Church, and Loving the World." While the buildings occupy two blocks downtown, the church is really  made up of the people who live out the love of  Christ in the surrounding community.
